Monroe Shocks 58642 Editorial Review
The Monroe 58642 Load Adjust Shock Absorber is a popular choice for those looking to tow heavy loads. The shocks are easy to install, although some have struggled with installation due to the lack of a compression strap. They have helped to control the ride and make it more firm when towing, despite some complaints of stiffness. Customers have reported that the shocks have increased load-carrying capacity by up to 1200 lbs and can raise the back end of the vehicle by up to 1 inch. Customers have had mixed results when using these shocks on lowered or lifted vehicles, with some reporting that they were not suitable. The shocks appear to be well made, although one customer reported issues with the quality of the shocks they received.
