- Rigidizer is a Colloidal Silica Compound, that can be used as cohesive agent for various fireproof materials that are used for insulation across various industries. This is widely applied for treating the surface of ceramic fiber materials like boards, blankets, vacuum formed components, and modules for increasing hardness and erosion resistance of the surface. We also deal in wide range of quality ceramic fiber products like Ceramic Fiber Blanket, Board, Bricks, Paper, Ceramic Wool, and plenty more. Product Value Good Mechanical Strength: Rigidizer are used for surface treatment of the ceramic fiber materials to increase its resistance to abrasion, thermal shock resistance and volume stability providing durability and good mechanical strength to the surface. High Insulating Value: This coating can withstand temperatures up to 2300F providing high insulating value to ceramic fiber materials and extending their life by increasing erosion resistance of surfaces that are subject to high velocity gases.
