The Lodge L8DOT3 Cast Iron Meat Rack/Trivet is a versatile kitchen tool that can be used as a trivet on a tabletop or inside a cooking vessel to lift food off the bottom. It is made of cast iron and comes pre-seasoned. It is great for stovetop slow cooking and helps disperse heat evenly. The trivet can also be used as a heat diffuser. To clean rust, simply apply cooking grease and scrub with a brush or pad. The trivet fits well in a Lodge skillet but may not fit perfectly in the large pan of the Lodge skillet/griddle Combo Cooker.
