Sirui Camera Mounts & Clamps TY-5DII Editorial Review
The SIRUI TY-Series Quick Release Plate is a black aluminum plate that provides a stable platform for a camera to be mounted on a tripod. It fits on Sirui ball heads and works with Arca Swiss type mounting systems. The steel screw that comes with the plate is 1/4 inch. It is durable, secure, easy to install, and does what it is supposed to do. The plate allows for quick-release with a pin that catches the plate and prevents it from sliding out of the mount. It is also compatible with a Blackrapid sling for easy switching between the sling and monopod. Overall, it is an affordable and useful addition to a camera setup.
