This Rust-Oleum 22232 Texture Additive is a versatile product that can be used with any paint, including oil-based paints, to create different textures on walls and ceilings. The product is easy to mix with paint and can be applied with a roller or brush. However, some customers found the medium texture messy to work with and advised using the fine texture instead. A customer successfully used this product on concrete surfaces to create a safe walking surface. Another customer was able to smooth out the textured walls of an old house with this product, which was a significant improvement from previous wall sanding attempts. On the other hand, some buyers complained that the product was not Consistent, with one buyer receiving a container filled with small pebbles instead of a talc or flour-like substance, while another buyer found the texture took longer to dry than the paint, resulting in cracks.
