However, this model may not be reliable enough for .223 or large frame ARs, as there isn't enough room for spent cases to come out and fall down, resulting in jams. It does work nicely on 22LRs and 9mm ARs and is compact and easy to use. On a positive note, the Construction and material used are of good quality. The product works as intended and can hold about 50 casings before bounce back jams may occur. Additionally, the brass catcher worked well with a Ruger 10/22 rifle, catching all the brass. Therefore, it is recommended if one is shooting less than 60 rounds per series.
