The Texas Instruments NE555P is a standard DIP8 2.54mm pitch IC which can fit any standard breadboard, perf board, or DIP IC socket. The CMOS version Consumes very low current, and the threshold and trigger leakage currents are lower as well. However, the CMOS version's frequency response is not clear, so it is important to check the datasheets of both original and CMOS versions to compare. These chips are brand new and authentic Texas Instruments components. Overall, customer reviews of the product have mostly been positive.
