It may not lay completely flat and may need to be warmed up in the oven and pressed with a large heavy book on a flat surface, but with a little effort, it will return to its true form. The ruler along the straight edge is in millimeters, though it does not have any numbers on it. Unfortunately, there is no handle on the product for easy pick-up and sliding.
