The Scientific Anglers Mastery Double Taper Fly Line is highly recommended for trout fishermen. This 90ft line has welded loops at both ends and a 5ft taper length on both sides. The double taper feature makes mending at longer distances easier than weight forward lines. It floats well and is easy to clean. The line runs true to weight and casts and handles better compared to lower-priced lines. It is also recommended to pair it with a double taper as it is the perfect line for trout fishing. However, the first 12-16 inches may sink a few inches, but it is normal for any fly line and could be easily cleaned and dressed. Overall, it's an excellent line that provides good quality at a reasonable price.
