The chair is made in China and has swivelling discs on the bottom that can take the pressure off certain areas. The chair is sturdy, close to the ground, and can hold larger people comfortably. There have been concerns that the black plastic piece that connects the arms to the back rail can break after a few uses, but overall, customers are happy with the product as it is comfortable, durable and a good value for its price.
