However, while the game lacks innovation and fails to address its flaws, it still manages to be enjoyable for those who are already fans of the series. On the positive side, Winning Post 9 2021 retains the familiar gameplay mechanics of its predecessors, making it a decent game overall. It is still entertaining for players who are new to horse racing and have developed an interest in horses through games like Uma Musume and equestrian clubs. However, without additional downloadable content, the game becomes challenging to win later on, especially if players are not familiar with the mechanics. The requirements for marriage are incredibly difficult without in-game purchases, leading players to reach their 40s in-game without marriage. Considering this, players who are not willing to spend extra for in-game purchases may find the game more difficult to progress without some frustration.
