The Shield Guard is made of thin metal, which makes it lightweight and easy to handle. It has a glossy smooth finish and is easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. Although it is not very tall, it does work to some extent. However, customers have reported that the shield falls over easily as it is not very sturdy. Some have also mentioned that there is still some splatter outside the shield walls, but it does help a bit.
