The quality of this trem arm is superb and much better than the original lock-bar type that comes as standard with German-made Floyds. This trem arm will only fit the Original Floyd Rose bridge from around 1987/1988, not the Low Edge Pro or other similar bridges. It bolts onto the main plate of the bridge and should be installed by removing the old arm and inserting the new one. There is no slop in the arm itself, but if required, it can be tightened with a set-screw. Overall, this is an excellent product that is essential for anyone looking to upgrade their Floyd Rose bridge. It is authentic and much better than the standard lock-bar type that comes as standard.
