The Uniseal 4" is made to fit SCH 40 PVC Pipe which has an OD of 4.5". The seal is made from Alcryn 2070 and is not UV-stabilized, so it is suggested to protect it from direct sun if using it outdoor. It is not designed to hold pressure but finds its application in sewer tank line seals. While installing, it is suggested to taper the edges generously and lubricate the pipe for easier installation. It is necessary to use a good hole saw that is exactly one inch larger than the seal.
