Upper Deck Dedicated Deck Card Games 10955 Editorial Review
In the world of Marvel Legendary deck-building games, the "What If..." expansion set has garnered mixed reviews from customers. Some praised the set for providing a neoprene playmat, alternate art starter cards, and appealing minimalist space theme. However, for new players, the set's complexity, lower card count (350 cards compared to the original's nearly 600), and limited variety in terms of heroes and schemes were noted drawbacks. The need for additional small-box expansions to enhance gameplay variation was also highlighted. Experienced players, on the other hand, found the set to be a valuable addition to their existing collections, offering more Hero, Mastermind, Villain, and Henchman Villains. The set was commended for its storage space for small box expansions and the inclusion of a playmat. While some customers appreciated the solid set of heroes and the incorporation of a Guardians of the Multiverse faction, others faced issues with missing cards upon opening the set, leading to frustration during the initial set up process. Overall, the "What If..." expansion set for Marvel Legendary received a mixed reception, with new players cautioned about its complexity and limited card count compared to previous introductory sets in the series. **
