Nflightcam Camera Mounts & Clamps 17963cec-f2d7-42cf-b5a7-3386b3fbb948 Editorial Review

**Editorial Review of the Strut Clamp Mount** The Strut Clamp Mount has garnered a generally positive reception among customers, particularly those in the aviation community. Users have appreciated its solid Construction and ease of installation, highlighting that the necessary tools are included and that the mounting process is straightforward. Many have successfully used the clamp on various aircraft, such as the Cessna 182 and the Magni M16 Gyrocopter, reporting that it provides stable and high-quality video recording capabilities. However, there is some criticism regarding a specific design choice made by the manufacturer. Customers noted that the "Surface Spud" is semi-permanently fused to the clamp, limiting versatility. While initial expectations were that this could be detached for different mounting scenarios, users feel that this design choice seems driven more by a desire to encourage additional purchases rather than to enhance functionality. This concern about the potential for reduced flexibility has slightly tarnished what could otherwise be an excellent value product. Overall, the Strut Clamp Mount is regarded as a sturdy and effective mounting solution for aviation enthusiasts, though the limitations placed on its versatility via design decisions merit Consideration before purchase. **
