The distance between the mounting holes on the long side is 3 5/8 inches on centers, 3 1/8 inches distance between holes. The AffinityTool website has a separate set of thin pads for the sjo 66690k, which is not needed for the sjo 33309. The updated model has slight difficulty in clamping to a table or bench, but it can be easily resolved by bolting the fixture down on a plywood piece slightly larger than the base.
