KYB SR4636 Strut-Plus Complete Corner Unit Assembly -Strut, Mount and Spring

The customer experience with this product is notably mixed, highlighting issues primarily related to product quality rather than service or delivery. Customers who attempted to install these struts encountered serious problems with the upper mounting studs stripping easily during installation. One reviewer reported this unfortunate incident on both struts purchased, implying a potential systemic quality control failure. While the struts themselves appeared well made, the ongoing issues with the studs raised concerns about their durability and the product's overall reliability. On a more positive note, the seller's customer support was appreciated by at least one reviewer, who mentioned a willingness to refund or replace defective parts, although this would require extra effort as it involved re-installing the old parts while waiting for the replacements. Despite the high manufacturer reputation of KYB in the strut and shock market, the quality of the studs used has led some customers to question the integrity of what is otherwise Considered a solid product. Overall, while the struts may perform well when they work as expected, the prevalence of defects in critical mounting points leaves concerns over their reliability. **
