The Epson WorkForce DS-510 Color Document Scanner is a Mac compatible device that has the flexibility to scan multiple document pages into one document. It can even scan IDs and drivers licenses without any issue. However, it cannot scan longer than 8.5x36" unless you enter a custom size before scanning. The scanner can save files in .jpeg, .pdf, .tif or .bmp formats. The machine comes with all cables needed to operate it and reviews provide varied opinions on the quality of the scanner. The scanning speed is said to be extremely fast and the document feeder is acceptable. The key downsides, as noted by some reviews, are that the rollers have a tendency to break for no reason, technical support is almost non-existent and the unnecessarily high restocking fee.
