- This Module kit omly fits for Sovol SV08. Only fits for Klipper, not for Marlin. The eddy current scanning kit must be used with a metal platform plate. It cannot be used on non-metallic platform plates such as carbon silicon crystal glass plates, fiberglass platform plates, etc. You need to flash the firmware before use this kit. The nozzle cover in the kit must be used, otherwise the kit cannot be installed
- Using the same automatic leveling system as SOVOL's new model, SOVOL ZERO, the new system combines eddy current scanning and pressure sensors with high accuracy. The eddy current automatic leveling sensor can complete the hot bed leveling at a very high speed, which is faster than traditional sensors. But its groundbreaking high speed does not affect the leveling accuracy. After the first calibration is completed, there is no need to manually adjust the Z offset
- The working principle of the eddy current automatic leveling sensor is different from that of most leveling sensors on the market (such as BL touch, CR-touch and 3D-touch). You need to compile the firmware first. Please refer to the SOVOL Wiki for instructions and more information
- The eddy current automatic leveling sensor provides advanced temperature compensation and Z-axis homing functions, which largely avoids the negative impact of temperature fluctuations on your leveling accuracy, ensuring consistent and precise leveling at all times
- The eddy current automatic leveling sensor must be operated on a hot bed with evenly distributed magnets (such as spring steel plates) and PEI plates with magnetic stickers. Do not use it on a hot bed with uneven magnets. (The original Sovol SV08 machine installation has no effect).
