The Lehigh SHR26-25 Rafter Hanger is a versatile hook that can hold a variety of items weighing up to 50lbs. With one end measuring 2" wide and the other end measuring 4" wide with a protective cover, the hook can fit over 2x4s and 2x6s, and can hang from something up to 4" thick with the coated end up. However, the hook will rust, so it may need to be powder-coated or replaced with an aluminum or stainless steel hook for use in wet environments. Overall, customers have been pleased with the quality and sturdiness of this hook, with many using it for unique purposes such as hanging a water hose or a compound bow. However, some customers have noted that the hook did not work for their specific purpose.
