What sets this pad apart is that the sheets are separated by acid-free glassine sheets that protect your work from smudging and flaking. This makes it perfect for artists who don't want to worry about ruining their work due to mishandling. Unfortunately, it seems like some customers have received damaged pads with folds, curls, or even a bent shape. While the pad is still usable to some extent, it's not ideal, and it's understandable that customers would be disappointed with its condition upon arrival.
