I have tried from outside the door (wire mesh) and the remote doesn’t work however I don’t know whether the remote is out of range or being hampered by the metal frame and wire mesh.

    respuesta: With the USB charging cable. NB I find that with shorter daylight hours in the winter I occasionally have to top-up the solar charging with USB charging too.

    respuesta: I'm not sure of the kelvin, but there is a harsh and dim setting. Flashing and sos. I find mine just right.
